I have some new art workshops coming up. Two are in person located in Brooklyn NY and one is online. All classes are great for beginners and intermediate-level artists. The two in-person art workshops occur at Hive Mind Books in Brooklyn. "Wonderful Watercolors Workshop with Jedidiah Dore" is on Thursday, January 16th. Wonderful Watercolors is a two-hour art workshop introducing the fundamentals of watercolor medium and using mixed media to create vibrant and imaginative paintings. If you have always wanted to learn how to paint with watercolors or desire to enhance your painting skills this class is perfect! Design a Book Cover with Jedidiah Dore is an art workshop taking place at Hive Mind Books in Brooklyn on January 30. Imagine what it would be like to design an exciting book cover. What are the techniques and processes involved in creating book covers for Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Thriller, History, Travel, or other literary genres? This class will show you the foundation of great book cover design and how to produce an engaging book cover using a variety of innovative design methods. Design A Beautiful Book cover will also focus on an introduction to classic book designs, artistic ideas, and methods used in various literary genres, and then put those ideas into practice with a step-by-step art lesson on how to make your own book cover.
